I'll try and catch you up on each of them -

Fargo (4 month Anatolian Shepherd X) |
Fargo was a BIG fluffy puppy, he came from the Vernal shelter & we picked him up in Salt Lake during an event to foster him. Puppies have a 10 day hold + spay/neuter before you can adopt them out to families, older dogs have 7 day hold + spay/neuter before you adopt them out also. Anyways, this was a hard foster because my personal dog HATED this puppy, there were a few scuffles so we had to keep them on separate sides of the house. I didn't pay much attention to this puppy because I my dog disliked him so much but my mom was in love with Fargo. After him we decided fostering 4 month males puppies was just a bad idea it was a hard 10 days.
He was also a toy hoarder BIG time, he would take every toy he could find and set them on his bed. They said he was found as a stray around the reservations, he picked up housebreaking quick and was good in his crate. He had a VERY dominant personality which may have been the reason Rush wasn't a fan of him. He was soooo incredibly soft and sweet though, he wasn't treat motivated so you had to use toys to train him.
His new name is Angus MacGyver
He went to a home where is mom is a photographer so she'll be taking him on all her photo shoots up the canyon and whatnot!

Picaboo & Sidalee
Picaboo & Sidalee are 4 month old Black Mouth Cur mixes, they came from the New Mexico shelter. They were the most affectionate little puppies we've had, they loved to be in the same room with you, they always stayed close in the yard (our yard isn't fenced). We could just leave the door open for them and they'd always stay close! They were incredibly obedient and would make a fantastic companion!
So we tried female 4 month old puppies to see if Rush would do better... It was easier than Fargo but still we had to split them in separate parts of the house. These two had multiple meet and greets fall through but the perfect people adopted them in the end! One was a single lady that wanted a companion and she chose Sidalee and they are PERFECT together.

Nine Puppies
Alright so 9 puppies is a lot of puppies, right? You'd think we would take that in consideration except for the fact that they were GERMAN SHEPHERD MIX PUPPIES. To be fair, we were suppose to get 4 Border Collie X puppies but then they went to a different rescue and my mom saw these puppies....

THIS IS WHAT WE SAW. |
We saw 7 puppies there, then 8, and then finally there were 9.
Now that I look back at this picture I could name every one of those puppies in this picture.
Giddy, Colonel, Gadget, Kronk, Skuttle, Figaro, Gosalyn, Monterey Jack in the back, and unseen Launchpad (which is weird since he's HUGE)
Also, I just realized they are all standing in their own poop.

Anyways, so we offered to foster all "8" only to get a text a couple days later saying
"So, there are actually 9 puppies...Is that ok?"
Our response -
"What's one more?"

So, one year later from our first 5 foster puppies we managed to add 4 more puppies, maybe next year we'll do 11-12 ;). This time we were prepared when we went to pick them up, we brought a crate. We get there to pick them up and the transport vans arrived at the exact same time, our puppies took up 3 of those crates. So we pack them all up after checking for ticks and they all managed to fit in the medium sized crate. We start driving away and they all pooped in their crate, it smelt terrible, we died, we drove at 8pm from Salt Lake to Mapleton with the windows rolled all the way down, gagging. I literally thought I was about to throw up that entire ride, for those of you that don't know how long it was, it was about 45 min to an hour of the smell of diarrhea in the back of the car.
I love being a foster.(?)
I really do love being a foster.
