Dog Training

So yesterday I took Rush to a dog training class Rescue Rovers were doing, he is doing very good for his age it seemed like. We got their and the teacher discussed some common problems and had dogs (there were about 10-15 dogs there) that had that problem come up. So first they had anti-social dogs that don't really get along, George (shitzu-chi mix, looks like Peach) came up for that one and they introduced him to a boxer that's somewhat aggressive. They brought George behind to the side (left?) and him sniff the boxers bum, that is the proper introduction dogs need. Then they did crate training, Rush is pro when it comes to crate training, he LOVES his crate. They passed around a choke collar, Rush wears one but this was different and seems like it would do more of the trick to get them to listen, it looks sharper and more harmful than it really is --
Choke Collar

I think eventually I may try it once he gets bigger, the choke collar I'm using for him right now does pretty much the trick. He got a lot of socialization and was complimented on his "army crawl" towards big dogs, they said that was really good. He met a large German Shepherd that didn't make him pee himself like last time, he was a little hesitant but the dog was incredibly nice. He also got to meet another German Shepherd mix his same age, and boy did they have FUN. I've never seen him play like that, he was having the time of his life with that puppy! I took a couple pictures but they're a little blurry due to the fact they were crazy!

Her name is Ash, she was a foster fail to another lady. Ash is the spunkiest puppy I have ever seen, she was rolling and jumping and just spazzing out while they played. It sure made Rush look VERY laid back compared to her, but he had a ball playing with her! I loved watching him have that much fun, he doesn't get a play time like that very often. Peachy has seemed to be playing with him a little more often lately, I mean just today they played like three times, it's rare to get twice a week. There was a lady there with her foster, she works at the flower shop in the town I live in, anyways, Rush seemed to love her. She would have her dog "sit" and Rush would run over and go right in front of her, sit, and stare at her like "look how good I am at sitting". She couldn't help but laugh the three times he did that to her. They had cones out and had each person walk their dog to see how each dog is doing and when I went she had no corrections for me. WHAT UP.

So this past week I've been substituting for my sister-in-law with answering phones for work, It has it's ups a downs. It makes you appreciate more when a very friendly person calls every once in a while and lets you know how well you're doing. Anyways, I've never seen a more lazier dog this week than Rush, you'd think he'd be all over the place. Nope. He's sleeping all day.

Everyday I'm packaging/ answering phones.
